Who we are

Community • Ethics • Reliability

Our Story

Founded in 2012, Indus Pharmacy began as a neighbourhood chemist with a simple belief: healthcare should be humane and dependable. Over the years, we have grown into a structured pharmacy organisation that supports clinics, hospitals, and home‑care programs across the region. Our pharmacists are trained to counsel patients, identify potential drug interactions, and coordinate with prescribing physicians wherever needed.

We maintain transparent systems for procurement and inventory control. From cold‑chain biologics to critical‑care consumables, our operations are designed to prevent stockouts and preserve product integrity. Above all, we measure success by the trust we earn from patients and clinicians.

Mission & Values

Our mission is to deliver safe medicines with compassion and clarity. We act with integrity, respect clinical judgement, and prioritise patient education. We invest in training, process audits, and technology so that every order is traceable and compliant.

  • Patient safety over everything
  • Evidence‑based counselling
  • Fair pricing & transparent billing
  • Environmental responsibility

Quality framework

SOP‑driven • Temperature‑mapped • Traceable

Quality at Indus Pharmacy is embedded end‑to‑end — from supplier onboarding to point‑of‑care counselling. We document, audit, and continuously improve our processes. Below are the pillars of our framework.

Responsible Sourcing

We procure only from authorised stockists and manufacturers. Batch numbers, GRNs, and invoices are digitally archived for traceability. Counterfeit risk is mitigated through supplier vetting and periodic audits.

Cold‑Chain Integrity

Refrigerators are temperature‑mapped and data‑logged. Alarm thresholds trigger checks, and validated carriers are used for in‑transit control of insulin, vaccines, and biologics.

Pharmacovigilance

We record ADRs, educate patients on red‑flag symptoms, and coordinate with prescribers for dose optimisation. High‑risk flags are built into our dispensing checklists.

Clinical Counselling

Patients receive guidance on dosage, storage, missed‑dose scenarios, and lifestyle considerations. We emphasise antibiotic stewardship and adherence.

Documentation & Audits

Every process has an SOP. Internal audits and corrective actions are tracked to closure, ensuring we learn quickly and standardise improvements.

Data & Privacy

Patient information is handled with confidentiality. Access controls, consent practices, and secure storage protect personal health data.

Infrastructure

Safe storage • Efficient workflows

Storage & Environment

Dedicated areas for ambient, cool, and cold storage. FIFO/FEFO picking, pest control program, and calibrated devices for periodic verification.

Technology

Inventory management with batch/expiry tracking, GST‑compliant billing, and barcode support to prevent dispensing errors.

Continuity

Backup power, access control, CCTV, and documented emergency SOPs ensure resilience during critical situations.

Leadership & team

Qualified • Empathetic • Accountable

Our team blends clinical expertise with operational discipline. Pharmacists lead front‑line counselling, supported by a back‑office that maintains documentation, audits, and compliance.
